Jury Chair: Christopher Herr, AIA, LEED AP, LEED BD+C

A founding partner of Studio H:T, Christopher received a degree in French Horn performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music prior to beginning his studies in architecture. Experiencing music in some of the great performance spaces on the west coast fostered his interest in acoustics and led him ultimately to the University of Florida where he received his Master of Architecture degree studying under architect and acoustician Gary Siebein.

Christopher returned to his native Colorado and launched Studio H:T in 2003. Since that time, the Studio has garnered more than twenty AIA design awards and been published nationally in Architect, Builder, and Architectural Record magazines. Christopher was recently named AIA National Young Architect of the Year.

In addition to private practice, Christopher instructs at the University of Colorado and continues to perform as principal horn of the Longmont Symphony.
